  4. My iPad is misbehaving on your site as usual. I enjoyed your explanation. I wish I had said a bit more in my walk through. I envy your music corner particularly. The blankets have me thinking about how I might make my space more inviting for students. The other thing I want to mention is your explanation for why you kept a personal space in the classroom. I love my circle, but miss tables, yet when I had them, I had a number of students who suffered agonies all year long. They needed their own personal space very much. Every year, there are several students habitually accessorizing their desks with personal items. I've learned that this is very important to them.

    1. Yes, it is way too easy for us to have the same expectations for how our students use their space as we do. Little things can make a big difference.

  5. Thanks for sharing your classroom and the logic behind your design decisions! I love the music corner and studio. I'm also a fan of spotlighting student work and allowing them to make the room 'theirs.' What a great learning space!

Thanks to everyone who has shared a classroom video. It is so interesting to see all the different ideas and philosophies that make up our learning spaces!
